This year, Washington, DC and Jewish communities across the US will gather to honor Tel Aviv’s annual Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day Ceremony. For the past twelve years, thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have stood each year to acknowledge the pain and the aspirations of those living on the “other side” and strive to prevent the next wave of violence.

Please join us for a special memorial event based upon the values of recognition, hope, solidarity, and non-violence. We will view inspirational footage of the
Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day Ceremony taking place on the same day in Tel Aviv, sing, reflect, and renew our community's call to end the conflict in a just and peaceful way.

This event is part of New Israel Fund’s campaign, 50 Years of Occupation: Time to Take a Stand. The Occupation is an enormous problem and there is no chance it will be addressed if it is pushed out of view. Supporting Israel in our day means supporting those Israelis committed to keeping the Occupation on the public agenda and to pressing for a better future.
